SECOND ANNOUNCEMENT

The International Centre for Heat and Mass Transfer is pleased to announce LLFT-97, an international symposium on Liquid-Liquid Two-Phase Flow and Transport Phenomena taking place in Antalya, Turkey from 3rd to 7th November, 1997.

OBJECTIVE

The goal of the symposium is to provide a forum for the exposure and exchange of ideas, methods, and results in liquid-liquid flow heat and mass transfer.

While papers on all aspects of liquid-liquid phenomena will be welcome, contributions are especially invited on the following subjects:

  • Liquid-Liquid Systems and Applications
  • Modeling - Flow Patterns and Flow Characteristics
  • Modeling - Stability and Transitions
  • Liquid-Liquid Separation, Phenomena and Equipment
  • Measurement and Instrumentation
  • Characteristics and Effective Properties of Liquid-Liquid Systems
  • Multi-Phase Systems
  • Surface Phenomena
  • Bio-systems

LOCATION

The symposium will be held in Hotel Dedeman in Antalya, Turkey. Antalya is a metropolitan city on the southern Mediterranean coast of Turkey with international flight connections and historical sites. It offers sandy beaches and a skiing-resort to the tourists at the same time.
