PAMUKKALE  - EPHESUS

Day 1   June 19, 2010

Breakfast and early morning departure from the SeaLife Hotel by coach to visit Pamukkale, including Hierapolis City with the Necropolis and the source of red water.

Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Pamukkale.

Day 2   June 20, 2010

After breakfast departure to Ephesus. Lunch will be taken en route. Visit Ephesus City including the theatre, Odeon and the Library of Celsus. Continue to visit the Basilica of St. John. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Selcuk.

Day 3   June 21, 2010

Check-out from hotel and drive to the Shrine of the Virgin Mary. Lunch en route.
Return drive to Antalya for overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 4   June 22, 2010

The Post-Conference tour ends after the breakfast with transfers to Antalya Airport.
The participants should book their flight for departure on  June 22, 2010 from Antalya for their homebound flight.

 

GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR POST-CONFERENCE TOUR PAMUKKALE – EPHESUS

1-    The guests intending to participate the Post-Conference tour, should have their flight ticket from Antalya issued for the date of  June 22, 2010. After the arrival from the Pamukkale- Ephesus Tour, the guests will stay overnight at the Hotel in Antalya, and on  June 22, 2010 the guests will be transferred to Antalya Airport.

2-    The prices of Antalya-Pamukkale-Ephesus-Antalya include one overnight stay at the Hotel in Antalya and two overnight stays during the tour on bed/breakfast basis and dinner stay in the 3* or 4* hotels, a/c coach, guidance in English, entrance fees to tourist places on the itinerary.
The rate does not cover lunches, drinks, personal expenses and extras.

3-   Booking deadline: May 1st, 2010. Please send 50% of the tour price to PAMFILYA TOURISM INC. Upon receipt of reservation form and payment (before May 1st, 2010) your booking will be confirmed by PAMFILYA TOURISM INC. Balance payment should be made upon arrival at the Dedeman Hotel.

 TOUR 2 –  June 19-21, 2010

FETHIYE

Day 1   June 19, 2010

Departure from hotel to Fethiye by coach. Tea-break en-route in Finike, which is a delightful city of orange groves. On the way, we will see the wonderful views of the Azure blue sea and the Taurus Mountains. Arrival to Demre. Visit of St. Nicholas Church in Demre, which is the ancient city of Myra and is especially known for Noel Baba (St. Nicholas), who was the Bishop of this Mediterranean City during the 4th century and who later died here in 325. Every year in December 6th, the Santa Claus (Father Christmas) Commemoration Ceremony is held, attracting many tourists, who spend their Christmas holidays on the sunny coast of ancient Lycia. Lunch will be taken at the Restaurant in Demre.
Departure to Fethiye. We will visit the remains of Kayakoy and the grave of king Amyntas, before driving to the most beautiful bay in Turkey; Ölüdeniz (Dead Sea) where you will have time for leisure and swimming in the this delightful bay with its cool, calm water. Continue driving to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Fethiye.

Day 2   June 20, 2010

Departure from hotel. After a city tour of Fethiye, a stop will be made at a typical Turkish carpet factory. Visit of Saklikent (The Hidden City) Canyon. Lunch will be taken en route. Overnight stay in SeaLife Hotel- Antalya.

Day 3   June 21, 2010

The Post-Conference tour ends after the breakfast with transfers to Antalya Airport.

The participants should book their flight for departure on  June 21, 2010 from Antalya for their homebound flight.

 TOUR 3 –  June 19-22, 2010
CAPPADOCIA

Day 1   June 19, 2010

Early-morning departure from Sealife Hotel to Konya (one of Turkey's oldest continuously inhabited cities, known as Iconium in Roman times. The capital of the Selcuk Turks from the 12th to the 13th centuries, it ranks as one of the greatest cultural centres of Turkey) by coach. Sightseeing at the Mausoleum of Mevlana (mystic Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi founded a Sufi Order known in the West as the Whirling Dervishes). The striking green-tiled Mausoleum of Mevlana is Konya's most famous building. Lunch in Konya. Upon arrival to Cappadocia area, visit to the underground city of Kaymakli and Uchisar fortress. Dinner and overnight stay in Cappadocia.

Day 2   June 20, 2010

Breakfast and early-morning departure to Goreme and Zelve areas. The towns are set right in the middle of a valley of cones and fairy chimneys. Restaurant lunch. Sightseeing in Avanos (situated on the banks of the Kizilirmak river, displaying attractive local architecture and is known for its handcrafts). Return to hotel for dinner and overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 3   June 21, 2010

After breakfast, check out from the hotel, sightseeing at Sultanhan (a caravanserai built by the Seljuk Sultan Alaeddin Keykubat in the early 13th century and favourite stop for tourists), lunch in Konya and return drive to Antalya. Dinner and overnight stay at the Hotel in Antalya.

Day 4  June 22, 2010

The Post-Conference tour ends after breakfast with transfers to Antalya Airport.
The participants should book their flight for departure on  June 22, 2010 from Antalya for their homebound flight.

 TOUR 4 –  June 19-22, 2010

ISTANBUL

Day 1    June 19, 2010 Saturday

Early morning departure from SeaLife Hotel to Antalya Airport for flight to Istanbul. Meeting and assistance by the Istanbul Pamfilya-Team. Drive to a restaurant near the Bosphorus for lunch. After lunch, embarking a regular ferry and cruise along the Bosphorus, where you will enjoy seeing the fortresses, palaces, and wooden villas situated on the European and the Asian sides. After the tour transfer to the hotel and overnight at the hotel.

(Timing of the programme may change due to the inbound flight arrival time) 

Day 2   June 20, 2010 Sunday

After buffet breakfast at the hotel, meeting at the hotel’s lobby and departure for Full day Byzantine Marvels  Tour. in Istanbul. Morning visit the site of Hippodrome where the chariot races, public and athletic events took during the Roman Period, begun in 203 AD.Nearby the Underground Cistern which was the water source for both Grand Byzantine Emperors and for the Ottoman’s Topkapi Palace. Continue to St Sophia, masterpiece of Byzantine Architecture with its enormous Dome was built in 6th century by the Emperor Justinian and still dominates the silhouetted of the Old City. Lunch at a local Turkish Restaurant. In the afternoon, visit to the Kariye Museum, the old church of St. Saviour in Chora treasuring the marvellous mosaics and frescoes which represents scenes drawn from the life cycle of the Holly Virgin and of Christ. Last stop will be “Kucuk Ayasofya Camii”; Saint. Sergius and Bacchus Church” dated back to mid of 500 AD. Return to the hotel 

Day 3   June 21, 2010 Monday

After buffet breakfast at the hotel, meeting at the hotel’s lobby and departure for full-day Ottoman Relics and Bazaar Tour in Istanbul. Morning visit to the Topkapi Palace with the Treasury and Harem Sections to enjoy dazzling displays of the Treasures of Ottoman Sultans and the porcelain collection which is unique in the World. The famous Harem, the private quarters of the Sultan and his extended family. Nearby is the Blue Mosque; most splendid mosque in the city, built in the early 18th century, distinguished by its six minarets and walls covered with the blue Iznik Tiles. Lunch at a local Turkish Restaurant. Afternoon continue to the Grand Bazaar , was the commercial heart of the old city and its 4,000 shops are full of treasures – including carpets and kilims, silks, jewelry, ceramics icons and leather goods. Last stop to the Spice Bazaar will capture you its exotic and mystical eastern aromas and return to the hotel.

Day 4   June 22, 2010 Tuesday

After breakfast meeting at the hotel's lobby and departure transfer to Istanbul Airport for the homebound flight.

1-    The guests intending to participate at the Post-Conference Tour, should have their flight ticket from Antalya to Istanbul issued for the date of  June 19, 2010 and should have their flight ticket from Istanbul to their home country for the date of  June 22, 2010.

2-    The prices of Istanbul tour include three overnight stays on bed/ breakfast and dinner stay at a 5* or 4* hotel and lunches during the excursions, a/c coach, guidance in English, entrance fees to tourist places on the itinerary.
The rate does not cover drinks, personal expenses and extras.

3-    Booking deadline:  May 1st, 2010. Please send 50% of the tour price to PAMFILYA TOURISM INC. Upon receipt of reservation form and payment (before May 1st, 2010) your booking will be confirmed by PAMFILYA TOURISM INC. GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR CANCELLATION OF THE POST- CONFERENCE TOURS

1-         In case of cancellations made by participants after May 5, 2010, a handling charge of USD 120.- per person will be deducted and the remainder of the deposit will be refunded by to PAMFILYA TOURISM INC.

2-         The tours will be operated with a minimum of 10 persons. For reservations below this minimum number, a new tour price according to the number of requests will be announced. If the participants do not accept the new tour price, the tour will be cancelled, and a handling fee of USD 20- per person will be deducted, which may be used as a credit for another excursion, and the remainder of the deposit will be refunded by PAMFILYA TOURISM INC.

3-         Pamfilya Tourism Inc. can provide additional services before and/or after the tours provided that requests are made well in advance, preferably together with the tour booking. Please contact Pamfilya Tourism Inc. for other tourist services such as car rentals, international tickets, hotel reservations, yachting, special-interest tours, and private tours.
