How to get to the hotel:
The name of the nearby airport is the Adnan Menderes Airport of Izmir. It is
an international airport with direct scheduled flights from many cities in Europe.
Since the date of the ASI concides with the tourist season, the participants
are advised to make flight bookings well in advance.
The easiest way to reach the Golden Dolphin Hotel (Altin Yunus Hotel)(which
is about 5 km outside the town of Cesme, and on the way to the airport) is to
take a taxi from the airport. The distance is about 100 km (minimum one hour
drive). Taxis are available at all hours for a cost of approximately 70 EUROS
one way for up to 3 persons in daytime (double charge after midnight).
An alternative way is to take the airport bus to Izmir, then take a taxi from
the airport bus station to another bus station in Izmir at the district called
“Uckuyular”, then take the bus to Cesme (they leave Izmir every hour on the
hour until midnight), then take another taxi from Cesme to the Golden Dolphin
Hotel (Altin Yunus Hotel). This is a cheaper way, but takes much longer time.
